If you need help and support, there are a number of agencies you can contact.


Call the Forced Marriage Unit (FMU) on: 020 7008 0151 (or 0044 20 7008 0151 if you are overseas).


The Scottish Government has arranged for a helpline to take calls from people faced with the threat of or who are in a forced marriage.  The number is free, cannot be traced and is available 24 hours a day – free phone 0800 027 1234.  More information on where to go for help is also available
